Learn About Our Teas!

FLU SEASON IS HERE, WE HAVE A TEA TO HELP!

Flu season is here, and with the kiddos back in school it is only a matter of time til the flu bug visits your household.  Even if you do not have kids the flu bug seems to find its way into your home.  If you are like me you try to avoid this nasty little bug at all costs.  I have found over the years that tea if very helpful in keeping your immune system strong and helping you fight of colds and flu.  But if you do find yourself sick we have a few teas that will help you get through it.

First tea I recommend is our Happy Belly Tea.  Calm your stomach with soothing senna while relaxing your senses with the natural sweetness of our anise and licorice blend.  Senna leaf, licorice root, green rooibos tea, orange peels, chicory, aniseed, slippery elm, pu erh tea & ginger root round out this tea.  I have used this tea on myself and my husband when we have had upset stomachs and it works like magic.

Second tea I recommend to stock up on this winter is either peppermint or spearmint.  Not only do both of these teas help to sooth upset tummies, they also help improve digestion, reduce pain and inflamation, boost your immune system , relieve headache pain, reduce nausea, and breathing in the steam from the hot tea may help open clogged air ways.

All black and green teas contain antioxidants that help keep our immune systems strong.  So pick your favorite tea, curl up under a warm blanket and get cozy all the while you are arming yourself to fight off winter illness.
