Introducing Mtn. Ridge Soaps!
Mountain Ridge Soaps was born from a hobby. I am an avid essential oil user and I am also very sensitive to many different chemicals so, I needed a natural soap with out harsh chemicals or synthetic scents which can irritate my skin and other senses. Now I know what you are thinking, there are several brands of natural soaps on the internet so why make your own? Well, because it is fun! And I can control the amount and type of fragrance and any other additives, such as which herbs to add into the soap. So why not create my own soaps with the scents and herbs that are not only beneficial for the skin but also smell great and are visually pleasing. And that's exactly how Mountain Ridge Soaps came about.
My husband and I experimented with several different high quality essential oils to create some unique blends. He is the creator of the Grapefruit Fir soap bar. He wanted something "manly", so after several different blends he combined the Grapefruit essential oil and the Siberian Fir essential oil along with the oatmeal for exfoliation and crushed dried mint leaves from our herb garden for a "manly" soap that not only smells terrific but looks and feels great. We will be creating more scents for men in the future.
Now, for the ladies we currently have Orange Clove (which makes me think of Christmas) and Lemon Lavender (well, because Lavender is my favorite scent.) Both of these soaps include high quality essential oils, oatmeal and different herbs from my garden. Lemon Lavender contains Lavender essential oil, Lemon essential oil, oatmeal to soften and exfoliate, crushed dried lemon verbena and dried lavender buds which also help exfoliate the skin. Orange Clove contains Sweet Orange essential oil, Clove essential oil, oatmeal to soften and exfoliate and crushed, dried mint leaves. The herbs we use are cut fresh, and shed dried and we never use insecticides so you know they are safe. All of our soaps are created with a natural skin safe shea butter soap base.
These soaps are homemade in small batches, beautifully wrapped in colorful tissue paper and label so they are a perfect gift for someone you love or for your self. We hope you enjoy these soaps as much as we do and keep watching as we expand our scent options for more variety.
